Responsibilities
- Serve as the on-site commissioning authority, coordinating all field execution activities from pre-functional testing through Integrated Systems Testing (IST).
- Lead startup and energization sequencing of HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems including chillers, UPS, generators, and switchgear.
- Coordinate closely with commissioning authorities, contractors, engineers, and owner representatives to resolve field issues.
- Conduct detailed field inspections to ensure compliance with design documentation and commissioning requirements.
- Develop and manage six-week look-ahead schedules and constraint logs to maintain execution velocity.
- Lead site coordination meetings with clients, trade partners, and internal stakeholders, presenting progress, risk, and recovery plans.
- Apply lean construction practices including takt planning, zone mapping, and pull planning.
- Track commissioning progress, deficiencies, and corrective actions in real time.
- Maintain safety compliance and ensure adherence to OSHA and energized work standards.
- Drive system turnover and final acceptance by the owner with full documentation and readiness validation.
Compensation & Benefits
- The base salary for this W-2 position ranges from $72.12 – $120.19 per hour, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
