Commissioning Specialist - Electrical - 24487
Join our team as a Commissioning Specialist focused on Electrical systems, where you'll lead and execute comprehensive commissioning activities to ensure electrical and facility systems operate safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications. Engage in testing (QA/QC, Functional Performance), equipment and systems start-up, and support retro-commissioning and re-commissioning projects. Collaborate directly with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to optimize operational performance and stakeholder satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Lead and execute comprehensive commissioning activities for electrical and facility systems.
- Perform QA/QC and functional performance testing.
- Oversee equipment and systems start-up.
- Support retro-commissioning and re-commissioning projects.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to optimize operational performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in commissioning activities, including utility infrastructure, life safety, electrical power systems, low voltage systems, building/facility systems, and O&M.
- Mission-critical experience is a plus.
- Working knowledge of NFPA, NETA, NICET electrical testing standards, and code requirements.
