Commissioning Manager

Praetorian Power Protection, the leader in NETA testing and staff augmentation to the mission-critical industry, is searching for a Commissioning Manager to join our Montgomery, AL team. We're looking for a hands-on technical leader with proven commissioning experience in data center or mission-critical environments, ready to take full ownership of complex commissioning efforts in the field. What You'll Do Develop and manage a comprehensive commissioning plan and integrated schedule covering inspection, startup, testing, and closeout phasesLead commissioning field activities and direct internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors while ensuring safety compliance with NFPA 70E and LOTO requirementsImplement and oversee commissioning management software — BIM360, ACC Build, and CxAlloy — to track documentation and executionCoordinate with the client and client's commissioning agent to define project-specific requirements, test scripts, and turnover documentationManage technical reviews, including MEP systems, QA/QC coordination, load bank planning, equipment startup, and factory witness testingAct as subject matter expert in design reviews, scope matrix development, budgeting, and script feasibility for high-performance building systems
