What You'll Do

  • Support planning of HVAC commissioning scopes and perform activities in all phases from design, scoping, scheduling, execution, through turnover
  • Perform design, submittal, and controls system reviews
  • Develop commissioning plans, checklists, balancing reports, schedule, budget, and other technical documents related to mechanical commissioning
  • Conduct site walks, equipment inspections, and maintain a punchlist
  • Attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)
  • Career Acceptance Tests (SAT)
  • Support the Operations and Commissioning teams in managing various tools such as completions management software, Management of Change, work requests and others

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience performing mechanical commissioning and balancing (TAB)
  • TAB certification by an accredited body (NEBB, AABC, TABB or similar)
  • 5+ years of technical expertise in air handlers, fans, packaged equipment, dehumidification, chilled water plants, heating plants, heat exchangers, environmental controls, and commissioning
  • Certain understanding of design drawings, submittals, P&ID’s, SOW’s, SOO’s
  • Able to use a building management system (BMS) to control equipment and diagnose operating issues
  • Able to operate personal lift devices and work at heights
  • Experience working in cleanroom, biomedical research, or similar environments is preferred
