About the role

We consider several factors when preparing a compensation package for successful candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Creates energization and electrical performance methods and procedures (MOPs)
  • Support LOTO planning and energized work coordination
  • Lead portions of pre-energization readiness reviews
  • Identify and communicate risks related to startup and system integration
  • Track commissioning progress and support issue resolution
  • Support quality assurance and commissioning efforts at project sites
  • Collaborate with manufacturers, distributors, and testing partners
  • Interface with owner and construction managers to address technical questions and remediate issues

Requirements

  • You have experience in the design, construction, and installation of building electrical systems
  • You have experience in quality control, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems
  • You have strong technical understanding of medium and low voltage power distribution systems, including switchgear, UPS, generators, and redundant power systems
  • You have experience with NFPA, NEC, NFPA 70E and other applicable codes and standards
  • You have earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (bonus points)

Qualifications

  • Required: Experience in the design, construction, and installation of building electrical systems
  • Required: Experience in quality control, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems
  • Required: Strong technical understanding of medium and low voltage power distribution systems, including switchgear, UPS, generators, and redundant power systems
  • Required: Experience with NFPA, NEC, NFPA 70E and other applicable codes and standards
  • Bonus: Earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
