Responsibilities
- Support the planning, execution, and documentation of commissioning activities for semiconductor facility projects.
- Conduct functional performance testing (FPT) and system verification activities for mechanical, electrical, and process utility systems.
- Verify equipment and systems operate in accordance with design specifications, owner requirements, and applicable industry standards.
- Assist in the development and execution of commissioning plans, test procedures, scripts, and turnover documentation.
- Perform project risk assessments prior to major testing and commissioning activities and implement appropriate control measures to ensure safe execution.
- Maintain a strong safety-first mindset and actively promote a culture of safety throughout all project phases.
- Cookordination with project teams, contractors, vendors, and facility personnel to support system startup, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Review construction and installation quality to identify deficiencies and support corrective actions.
- Coordinate punch list management, system turnover, and project closeout activities.
- Develop and maintain professional working relationships with clients, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed commissioning reports, test documentation, and technical summaries.
- Ensure all commissioning documentation is completed accurately and maintained in accordance with project requirements.
- Participate in factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), and integrated systems testing as required.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of commissioning, qualification, startup, facilities engineering, or mission-critical infrastructure experience.
- Experience supporting semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, pharmaceutical, life sciences, data center, or other highly regulated industrial facilities.
- Working knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems including: HVAC systems, chilled water systems, AHUs, electrical distribution systems, process cooling water systems, compressed air systems, building automation systems.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred, but not required.
- Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.

Pay
- This hourly rate is intended for local candidates within commuting distance of the site. Please note that local candidates are not eligible for per diem.
- Hourly Rate (Local Candidates within traveling distance): $50—$70 USD
- This rate is intended for traveling candidates, who may also be eligible for per diem of up to $1,500 per week.
- Per diem is only available to employees who maintain a qualifying tax home and incur duplicate living expenses while working away from home.
- Per Diem - Per Week (Traveling Candidates Only): $1,500—$1,500 USD
Schedule
- Hourly Rate (Traveling Candidates): $50—$60 USD
- Per diem is only available to employees who maintain a qualifying tax home and incur duplicate living expenses while working away from home.
- Per Diem is subject to company policy and IRS guidelines.
