Commissioning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Business development, by prospecting for commissioning opportunities & new pursuits.
• Estimating fees, issuing proposals, closing business, and executing the project.
• Aid in filling positions required to accomplish the work.
• Develop, maintain, and publish commissioning documents on commissioning software platforms and in project documentation systems such as Procore and Building Connected.
• Manage resources to successfully execute new and existing business.
• Complete work backlog while managing to exceed client expectations.

Requirements

• 10-15 years of commissioning experience.
• Previously demonstrated commissioning project management experience including technical, financial, project development (planning, staffing, client management, execution, reporting, closeout).
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to counsel clients and their project teams through the complex maze of the commissioning process.
• The ability to secure and manage technical resources required to execute commissioning projects per plans, specifications, and project schedule.
• Prior experience working with clients and projects in the following markets: Healthcare, Higher Education, Science & Technology, Transportation, Critical Environments (data centers, laboratories, pharmacies, operating rooms, etc.).

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commissioning and a track record of successfully managing projects in various market sectors. Leadership and client relationship management skills are essential, along with the ability to develop and maintain commissioning documents and manage resources effectively.

Pay

Salary range for 10-15 years of experience: $120,000 - $165,000

Schedule

The successful candidate will be expected to travel frequently - about 75% of the time in- and out-of-state.
