Commissioned Driver Helper

Labatt Food Service, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, is the tenth largest foodservice distributor in the nation. We operate in a high-intensity, high-transaction logistics environment, supplying 14,000 items to food-away-from-home customers in Texas and New Mexico from 5 distribution centers. Our fleet is equipped with the latest safety technology, including adaptive braking, collision mitigation, lane departure warnings, and tire pressure monitoring on all tires. All trucks are new with automatic transmissions for a smooth ride.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the delivery of up to 1,400 cases by hand daily.

Requirements

• Entry-level role—no experience required. We will help you start and build a career.
• Previous experience in any of the following is a plus: warehouse work, delivery driving, package handling, order selecting, manufacturing, construction, general labor, landscaping, shipping and receiving, or material handling.
• Must have the desire to become a Route Driver.
• Must bring a valid New Mexico driver’s license and proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Must pass pre-employment background check, motor vehicle report, drug test, and physical.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, with dispatch times between 1:00 am and 4:00 am.
• Home every night and weekends.

Pay

• Average salary: $700–$840 per week.
• Up to $1,500 driver referral bonus (offered once employed).
