Boscov's is seeking experienced Retail Furniture & Bedding Sales Associates to join our growing retail team. As part of a fast-paced, dynamic sales team, you will develop relationships with customers and ensure their needs are met efficiently. This is a commissioned sales position offering a rewarding career with a company known for quality and value.

Responsibilities

• Build customer confidence, provide accurate product information, and promote products through successful sales.
• Establish professional yet personalized rapport with customers to close sales and deliver an exceptional experience.
• Provide superior customer service, including greeting customers, qualifying their needs, and closing sales.
• Complete customer requests, transactions, and paperwork accurately and efficiently while adhering to company policies.
• Maintain the appearance of the selling floor and stock area, including straightening, replenishing merchandise, and tracking sales.
• Stay aware of advertised merchandise and maintain stock levels.

Requirements

• Prior retail and/or customer service experience.
• Previous sales experience preferred.
• Self-motivated with a professional image.
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and telephone) with customers, coworkers, and management.
• Ability and desire to work well with the public, management, and coworkers.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to learn selling skills and operate a POS register, computer, and telxon.
• Availability to work varied days and hours, including evenings and weekends.
