About the role
The Commissary Supervisor - Receiving is responsible for the receiving and stocking of all deliveries for the Food & Beverage department. They will ensure that all deliveries are checked for accuracy and quality and make sure that each delivery is efficiently and properly stored adhering to all relevant food safety standards.
Warehouse & Receiving Operations
- Receive food, beverage, and supplies deliveries, verifying product accuracy, quality, and condition
- Ensure all temperature sensitive deliveries are properly stored upon delivery
- Ensure all deliveries meet food safety and temperature requirements
- Resolve or escalate discrepancies, shortages, and damages in a timely manner to the Supply Chain Manager and Director
- Enforce proper storage standards, including FIFO, labeling, and product rotation
- Ensure all receiving areas are neat, clean, and orderly
Distribution & Event Execution
- Assist in the stocking of concession stands, bars, and carts for events
- Responsible for the re-stocking and rotating of BIB product throughout the arena
- Responsible for the stocking of all breakrooms throughout the arena
Inventory Control
- Accurately account for all incoming and outgoing products in all warehouse areas
- Ensure invoices for received product are signed and delivered to the Director of Supply Chain
- Maintain accurate inventory across all warehouse locations
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse, commissary, or supply chain operations, preferably in hospitality, sports, or large-scale venues
- Strong knowledge of inventory control systems, receiving processes, and distribution logistics
- Working knowledge of food safety standards and compliance requirements
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays based on event needs
- Strong organizational skills with superior attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time (8+ hours)
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly, and occasionally more with assistance
- Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and climbing ladders or stairs
- Ability to work in varying environments, including refrigerated and freezer spaces
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-volume, event-driven settings
- Ability to safely operate or learn to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, carts, lifts)
- Must pass a criminal background check
This will be an hourly non-exempt position.
