About the Role

The Commissary Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the pier utility staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to standard. This role focuses on maintaining cleanliness, safety, inventory management, and exceptional service for guests and crew.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily activities of pier utility attendants, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to standard.
  • Provide training and guidance to new and existing staff on proper procedures and safety protocols.
  • Ensure all food and supplies are received, handled, and stored correctly, maintaining accurate records of temperature control, labeling, and dating.
  • Confirm deliveries are complete and invoiced accurately; address discrepancies with suppliers and coordinate with BOH team leads.
  • Implement and maintain cleaning schedules for pier areas, ensuring spaces are clean, safe, and sanitary.
  • Uphold the Safety and Service System values to create a safe and welcoming environment for guests and crew.
  • Enter and manage data in specified programs to maintain accurate inventory and delivery records.
  • Begin work at the scheduled time and maintain uniform and personal grooming in compliance with appearance standards.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management to support overall operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least two (2) years of previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
  • Energetic and enthusiastic personality; detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to take direction.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information effectively to guests, coworkers, and suppliers.
  • Service-oriented mindset—actively looking for ways to help others.
  • Basic computer skills required; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work extended periods without sitting.
  • Required to lift furniture and other heavy items up and down stairs.
  • Availability to work on major holidays.
