Duties And Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily activities of the pier utility attendants, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and up to standard.
- Provide training and guidance to new and existing staff on proper procedures and safety protocols.
- Ensure all food and supplies are received, handled, and stored correctly, maintaining accurate records of temperature control, labeling, and dating.
- Confirm that all deliveries are complete and invoiced accurately, addressing any issues with suppliers, and coordinating with the BOH team leads to discrepancies.
- Implement and maintain cleaning schedules for the pier areas, ensuring all spaces are kept clean, safe, and sanitary.
- Uphold the values of the Safety and Service System, ensuring both guests and crew experience a safe and welcoming environment.
- Enter and manage data in specified programs, maintaining accurate records for inventory and deliveries.
- Be prepared to begin work at the scheduled time.
- Maintain uniform and personal grooming in compliance with appearance standards.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management to support overall operations.
Requirements & Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least two (2) years of previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality essential.
- Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to take direction.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information effectively to guests, coworkers, and suppliers.
- Basic computer skills required: Microsoft Office: Excel/ Word/ PowerPoint/ Outlook proficiency.
- Will work for extended periods without sitting.
- Required to lift furniture and other heavy items up and down stairs.
- Will be required to be available for work on major holidays.
