Commissary Supervisor

About the role

The Commissary Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of commissary production during their shifts. This position requires a leader who can manage a team and ensure high operational standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of commissary production
• Build the company's expertise in food quality and safety standards
• Create a safe and fun working environment for all employees
• Support Call Your Mother's high operational standards
• Manage and monitor quality to minimize waste
• Manage production schedule to support shop needs and timelines
• Share ideas, opinions, and suggestions to improve product quality and kitchen efficiency
• Manage and monitor quality to minimize waste and always be looking for ways to improve our products
• Assist with managing team shifts

Requirements

• 2+ years experience as a baker or prep cook in a food production space
• 1+ year experience as manager in a food production space
• Time management skills to deliver quality products on schedule
• Flexibility to support the needs of the business, including weekends, holidays, evenings, and potential overnight shifts
• Outstanding leadership skills and ability to motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
• A positive attitude and passion for food required
• A hands-on management style and willing to lead by example
• Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
