About the role
Berghoferin Fine Hotel & Hideaway in South Tyrol is seeking a motivated and dedicated Commis de Rang for the ongoing summer season (approximately until the end of October), with the possibility of renewal for future seasons. This role is designed for individuals with a completed professional training in hospitality who are at the start of their career or embarking on their journey in fine dining and high-level hospitality.
The hotel is a boutique sanctuary of just 13 suites, set in a small mountain hamlet at 1,500 meters above sea level near the border with Val di Fiemme in the westernmost Dolomites. It blends alpine authenticity with refined luxury, attracting a highly international clientele seeking a cultivated and sophisticated experience. The food and beverage offering operates at a consistently high level, with the fine-dining restaurant at its heart, fully integrated with the hotel experience yet standing confidently on its own in terms of service vision and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Deliver attentive and professional service in a fine-dining setting
- Gain hands-on experience in all aspects of service within a small, close-knit team
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure seamless coordination across all F&B outlets
- Contribute actively to the guest experience with a focus on operational excellence and polished presentation
- Uphold the hotel’s service philosophy, reflecting its commitment to personalized, attentive guest service and refined character
Requirements
- Completed professional training in hospitality
- Genuine interest in fine dining and high-level hospitality
- Enthusiasm for learning and growing within a fine-dining setting
- Previous experience in high-level hospitality is advantageous
- Strong commitment to delivering attentive and professional service
- Passion for wine, beverages, and gastronomy
