About the role

As a Senior Parts Clerk at Groupe Park Avenue, you will be the cornerstone of customer service and inventory management. You will provide quality service, advise clients and technicians, manage stock, maximize sales, and ensure the operational efficiency of the department.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients and technicians on parts selection in an efficient and professional manner.
• Provide high-quality service both internally and externally.
• Respond to customer phone calls and emails, providing information on parts, accessories, and promotions.
• Implement and follow a sales strategy and appointment scheduling.
• Ensure customer payment before merchandise release.
• Track pending orders and organize daily stock replenishment.
• Notify clients and technicians upon receipt of special-order or out-of-stock parts.
• Distribute tools requested by technicians and ensure follow-up.
• Assist with merchandise reception and delivery to technicians.
• Manage parts returns and deduct credits from inventory.
• Maintain an efficient stock management system and follow manufacturer programs.
• Prepare for tire seasons (summer/winter) and follow up with clients for complementary sales.
• Submit CO-OP claims for promotional parts.
• Create client accounts and ensure proper invoice management.
• Prepare and coordinate department inventory.
• Generate required reports and maintain department cleanliness and order.
• Perform any other tasks as directed by management.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a parts department.
• Competency card from the parity committee (in applicable regions).
• Excellent command of French (oral and written).
• Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy.
• Knowledge of various computer programs.
• Team spirit, autonomy, and initiative.
