Job Responsibilities

• Provide theory, range, and driving instruction to students
• Inspect and maintain school vehicles and equipment
• Maintain student training records
• Ensure students adhere to Trident Technical College’s CDL safety guidelines

Minimum And Additional Requirements

• Associate degree in Transportation Management or Business Technology or a closely related field plus 3 years truck driving experience
• High school diploma and 5 years of proven behind-the-wheel truck driving experience to include training and assisting students in obtaining a Class “A” CDL

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid South Carolina Commercial Driver’s License with all necessary endorsements
• Ability to function in an environment characterized by continual change in information technology
• Able to lift 100 pounds, carry 50 pounds, stoop, kneel, crawl, continuously walk, and stand
