Key Resonsibilities
- Select the correct products or assist customers in making product selections based on customer needs, product specifications and applicable regulations.
- Negotiate prices, terms of sale and service agreements.
- Ensure high post-sales satisfaction by facilitating positive, long-term relationships and high potential for repeat business with customers.
- Set account and territory plans on an annual, quarterly and monthly basis.
- Coach and mentor less experienced sales representatives as needed.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Requires at least 1 year related experience.
- Strong abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating and managing time.
- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
- Knows principles and processes for providing customer service.
- Effective at written and verbal communication.
- Intermediate industry and product knowledge.
- Must be able to use Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.
What We Offer
- Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $92,000 - $120,750 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Under the plan, target compensation is anticipated to be 65% base salary and 35% commission. New hires are guaranteed to receive at least the target commission for six months. The competitive compensation plan also includes an uncapped bonus structure based on performance exceeding 100% of the plan across three individual categories. The bonus amount increases as performance surpasses quota, so the potential payout is not fixed and can grow as over-quota achievements increase.
