About the Role
We are currently seeking a seasoned Commercial Superintendent with a dynamic personality and extensive experience in the construction industry to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse group of professionals on various commercial projects, including $200 million projects. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of our construction projects, from planning to completion, ensuring work is performed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all stages of the project life cycle, including management of materials, costs, quality, and safety measures.
- Coordinate and supervise all construction activities, ensuring all phases of work are completed efficiently.
- Manage subcontractors, ensuring their work aligns with the project plan and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain a construction schedule, ensuring project milestones are met.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify work is carried out according to project specifications and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other construction specialists, providing insightful feedback and recommendations.
- Resolve any issues or delays that may affect the timeline, budget, or quality of the project.
- Ensure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local construction regulations are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe work site by implementing good housekeeping regulations and safety rules.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the commercial construction industry.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale commercial construction projects from start to finish.
- Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, OSHA safety protocols, and regulations.
- Proficiency in project management and construction management software.
- Excellent ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Pay
Salary: $150,000 - $180,000 per year
