Responsibilities
- Inspects facilities and equipment to determine need and extent of service, equipment required, and type and number of operation and maintenance personnel needed.
- Knowledge of general construction, HVAC/BMS/Boiler systems etc.
- Prioritizes work to ensure building occupants’ needs are met in a timely fashion and assigns work requests to appropriate personnel to perform required maintenance, servicing and repairs.
- May also perform some repairs and servicing.
- May conduct the hiring of building support staff.
- Conducts training on maintenance, safety, equipment and systems.
- Directly or indirectly supervises vendors, both skilled (plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical, mechanical, maintenance) and unskilled staff (cleaning, moving, dispatch, security) and assigns them to perform facility/building and site maintenance, repairs, cleaning, and servicing.
- Develops, implements, and oversees a preventive maintenance program for all facilities and equipment.
- Captors, oversees, and directs vendors and contractors performing servicing, repairs, and construction on site.
- Visits with building occupants to ensure that their needs are met and solicits suggestions for improvements.
- Compiles records of labor and material cost for operating building and issues cost reports to owner or managing agents.
- Reviews plans and specifications for projects, construction, and servicing/maintenance and makes recommendations as to improving the maintenance and operation of the facilities to management and owner.
- Prepares budget estimates, makes recommendations to management and owner, makes purchases within policy guidelines, maintains equipment and materials inventory, and controls expenditures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school.
- 3+ years of related experience.
Competencies
- Must be able to work any shift Sunday-Saturday to support the company's business needs.
- Knowledge of safe use of cleaning agents and equipment used to perform job duties.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to prepare and interpret bar graphs.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Follow all Cushman & Wakefield safety policies and procedures.

$34.00 - $40.00 per hour.
