About the role
The Commercial Solution Sales Specialist plays a key role in driving project conversion and pricing execution in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Reporting to the Channel Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Distribution & Contractor Manager and key channel partners to qualify leads, convert opportunities, and support pricing strategies via Salesforce (SFDC) and coordination with the Pricing Team.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and lead project lead qualification and pricing requests in partnership with the Distribution & Contractor Manager.
- Qualify incoming web-based and Dodge project inquiries, converting them into active bid opportunities.
- Develop an understanding of competitive products and market dynamics.
- Recommend alternative product solutions aligned with project goals and budget requirements, collaborating with internal stakeholders.
- Engage with Distributors to creatively address project challenges and explore value-added solutions.
- Provide technical and product expertise to customers across various channels.
- Communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively across regional sales channels.
- Accurately document all customer interactions and project updates in Salesforce (SFDC).
- Review project specifications to ensure clarity, completeness, and alignment with bid requirements.
- Deliver proactive customer outreach and education on relevant product solutions and regional opportunities.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma with 2+ years of relevant business experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and common business software applications
- Interest in progressing toward an outside sales career
