Commercial Solar O&M Lead Electrician

Core Responsibilities

• Perform licensed electrical service work on commercial and utility-scale solar PV installations across Colorado.
• Manage and support your apprentice electrician crew mate.
• Troubleshoot and repair solar PV systems efficiently and safely.
• Provide feedback to O&M team members to help improve processes and team dynamics.
• Educate apprentices and other team members on proper and safe execution of electrical service work.
• Interface with customers via email and phone regarding scheduling and work-scope follow-up.
• Install and repair Data Acquisition Systems (monitoring) for commercial projects.
• Initiate and facilitate equipment warranty claims and vendor RMA processes.
• Track and report on work orders in Salesforce and SiteCapture on cellular devices and computers.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• COLORADO STATE JOURNEYWORKER ELECTRICIAN LICENSE.
• Strong safety mindset (OSHA, NFPA 70E familiarity).
• Comfortable working at heights and on pitched roofs.
• Proficiency with laptops, cell phones, and work-tracking applications.
• Effective, professional communication.

Preferred Experience

• In solar PV systems (troubleshooting, monitoring).
• Mentorship or leadership experience with apprentices.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and SiteCapture.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and one-line diagrams.

Work Schedule

• Monday-Friday - 40 hours.
• Occasional overnight travel within the state of Colorado.
• An active driver's license.
