Commercial Sheet Metal Foreman

McClure Mechanical Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Foreman to lead our team in El Cajon, CA.

About the role

Join our team as a leader in commercial sheet metal work, focusing on duct work and unit installations of all types. This full-time position requires expertise in reading plans, performing take-offs, forecasting labor and materials, managing budgets, and ordering supplies. You will work independently and lead a crew.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction plans
• Perform material take-offs and labor forecasting
• Manage project budgets
• Order materials and supplies
• Lead and supervise a sheet metal installation team
• Install sheet metal duct work and units of all types

Requirements

• Proven expertise in commercial sheet metal work
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 75 pounds
• Comfortable climbing and maintaining balance on high ladders and scaffolding
• Willingness to work in diverse environments (hot, cold, indoor, outdoor, high, dusty, loud)
• Clean DMV record
• Ability to pass a background check and E-Verify
• Drug-free workplace compliance

Qualifications

• EPA certification is a plus
