About the role
A member of our team, you will accurately diagnose and repair problems with commercial HVAC equipment. With a strong focus on customer service and a commitment to integrity, you will communicate solutions to customers.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving customer concerns in commercial environments.
- Performing service on commercial heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment as well as accessories.
- Performing start-ups on air conditioning as required.
- Delivering and removing equipment needed to complete service work.
- Providing excellent service to commercial customers and sustaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Handling customer concerns, questions or problems in an effective manner.
- Preparing material requisition forms to ensure proper truck stock levels.
- Performing maintenance on equipment, servicing and/or cleaning IAQ products, soldering, welding, brazing, and performing minor field fabrication.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A license in commercial HVAC required (Gasfitter 2 or Gasfitter 1 License) with Refrigeration license (313A License) preferred.
- A license in plumbing, electrical work, sheet metal, or refrigeration an asset.
- Proven mechanical aptitude and experience in the commercial HVAC field.
- Adept at servicing commercial heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment, as well as related accessories.
- Demonstrated commitment to the delivery of customer-focused service.
- The ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and production diagrams.
- Able to operate all necessary tools and equipment to perform various projects.
- Able to work overtime and weekend hours as required.
