About the role

A member of our team, you will accurately diagnose and repair problems with commercial HVAC equipment. With a strong focus on customer service and a commitment to integrity, you will communicate solutions to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving customer concerns in commercial environments.
  • Performing service on commercial heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment as well as accessories.
  • Performing start-ups on air conditioning as required.
  • Delivering and removing equipment needed to complete service work.
  • Providing excellent service to commercial customers and sustaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Handling customer concerns, questions or problems in an effective manner.
  • Preparing material requisition forms to ensure proper truck stock levels.
  • Performing maintenance on equipment, servicing and/or cleaning IAQ products, soldering, welding, brazing, and performing minor field fabrication.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A license in commercial HVAC required (Gasfitter 2 or Gasfitter 1 License) with Refrigeration license (313A License) preferred.
  • A license in plumbing, electrical work, sheet metal, or refrigeration an asset.
  • Proven mechanical aptitude and experience in the commercial HVAC field.
  • Adept at servicing commercial heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment, as well as related accessories.
  • Demonstrated commitment to the delivery of customer-focused service.
  • The ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and production diagrams.
  • Able to operate all necessary tools and equipment to perform various projects.
  • Able to work overtime and weekend hours as required.
