Commercial Service Electrician

About the role

Bryan Electric, Inc. is a family-oriented electrical contractor serving commercial customers since 2009. We specialize in commercial electrical construction and service, supporting repairs, maintenance, troubleshooting, and small project installations across a wide range of commercial facilities. This role supports commercial service work across the Atlanta, GA, Macon, GA, Chattanooga, TN, and Knoxville, TN regions and includes service calls, small project work, documentation, and rotating on-call support.

Responsibilities

• Respond to commercial electrical service calls in a professional and timely manner.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
• Perform small electrical installations and service-related project work.
• Read and apply NEC requirements, OSHA standards, and company safety policies.
• Document work orders, time sheets, inspections, and job notes using a mobile tablet.
• Communicate clearly with customers, supervisors, and management.
• Requisition materials, tools, and equipment needed to complete work orders.
• Maintain company service vehicle, tools, and inventory.
• Participate in rotating on-call coverage as required.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial electrical experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills using test equipment.
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
• Valid Georgia driver's license and ability to safely operate a service vehicle.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.
• Ability to stay organized, work independently, and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to pass MVR, background, and drug screening.
• Physically able to perform the duties of the position.
