Commercial Sales Representative - Title Insurance - CA
Candidate Profile
JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record (preferred but not required for non-attorney candidates)
Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing (if applicable)
5+ years of substantive sales or commercial real estate experience
Strong existing network within the San Francisco commercial real estate community
Proven success closing $7M–$25M commercial transactions
Background in brokerage, commercial services, or related industries strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of commercial real estate law, including federal and state title insurance regulations
Experience with sales database systems (Salesforce or similar) and social media as tools to manage and expand client relationships
Qualifications
HIGHLY SELF-MOTIVATED WITH A “HUNTER” MENTALITY PROFESSIONAL IN ALL ASPECTS (APPEARANCE, DEMEANOR, PRESENTATION, ETC.)
Comfortable operating independently in a field-based role
Familiarity with the title insurance industry strongly preferred
Deep understanding of the sales cycle and a drive for achieving revenue targets
Strong ability to adapt strategy to changing market conditions
Excellent relationship-building and communication skills with clients at all levels, in-person and virtually
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex real estate transactions
Valid driver’s license required for territory travel
Strong credibility with attorney peers and senior decision-makers
Comfortable collaborating closely with underwriting and escrow professionals
Excellent networking, communication, and follow-up skills
Motivated by results, accountability, and uncapped earning potential
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow a book of business within the San Francisco commercial real estate market
- Identify and close commercial transactions in the $7M–$25M range
- Cultivate relationships with attorneys, brokers, lenders, and investors
- Represent commercial transaction services to local and national clients
- Partner with underwriting and escrow teams to support complex deals
- Maintain consistent market visibility through meetings, outreach, and networking
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Compensation: Annual base salary of $100,000-$150,000, as determined by job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and market factors
- Uncapped commissions paid monthly
