Commercial Sales Manager

Synack’s Penetration Testing as a Service platform manages customers’ attack surfaces by discovering new assets, pentesting for critical vulnerabilities, and gaining visibility into the root causes of security risks. We are committed to making the world more secure by harnessing a talented, vetted community of security researchers to deliver continuous penetration testing and vulnerability management, with actionable results. The People Manager of Sales will lead our North American Commercial Sales team, working closely with other functional leaders to drive day-to-day direction, allocate resources, and develop our client footprint throughout the North American region.
Responsibilities
- Grow and develop a world-class Commercial team by identifying, training, and implementing best practices that improve the team’s performance while maintaining culture and values
- Drive accountability for forecasting, pipeline, performance, enablement, and attainment across your team
- Align and report on key metrics driving the revenue organization from new logo acquisition to revenue retention, pipeline build, and conversion
- Support continued refinement of the revenue and marketing organization’s defined playbooks, selling programs, and initiatives
- Influence, collaborate, and work with cross-functional leaders, departments, and teams to develop and execute successful strategies
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local, regional, and federal regulations
- Coach, grow, and develop employees on a regular basis to build a dynamic sales organization
- Support and occasionally lead complex deal negotiations with your team
- Support company diversity and inclusion initiatives, ensuring a diverse workplace to mirror our global customers and communities
- Support onboarding, enablement, and employee growth strategies
Requirements
- 5+ years of leadership management experience
- 3+ years of sales leadership experience
- Previous experience in a startup/scale-up environment
- Experience in the SaaS industry
- Experience developing and retaining high-performing sales teams
- Strategic and visionary skill set
- Experience supporting complex deal and contract negotiations
Pay
$160,000 - $220,000. The range listed represents a reasonable estimate of the on-target earnings for this role based on national salary averages. Salary offered to a successful candidate is determined by a combination of factors including location, level, relevant experience, role-related education, and skills. The compensation package for this position may also include equity and benefits.
