About the role
The Commercial Manager at incident.io is responsible for hiring, coaching, and enabling talent that will grow into our future leaders and enterprise sellers. This role involves building and leading the team driving our fast-growing Commercial business, which covers early stage startups through upper mid market companies across North America.
Responsibilities
- Building and leading a high-velocity SMB or Commercial sales team
- Running deal reviews and coaching reps through tough negotiations
- Coordinating with Marketing, RevOps, Product, CS, Legal, and Finance to shape winning strategies and close deals
- Spotting patterns in deals and rep behavior to inform coaching and system improvements
- Working closely with the Head of Commercial Sales and CRO to scale the Commercial business
Requirements
- Experience leading a high-velocity SMB or Commercial sales team at a fast-growing B2B SaaS company
- Consistently hitting sales targets and demonstrating full-cycle SaaS selling expertise
- A passion for hiring and developing top talent
- An ability to identify and leverage patterns in sales data and behavior
- A desire to be deeply involved in the day-to-day operations of the business
- Adeptness in managing multiple departments and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
