Responsibilities

• Oversees the daily construction activities at a work site.
• Responsible for the overall progress of the project as well as the scheduling of workers and the delivery of equipment and materials.
• Works with contractors to complete project within the given budget and time frame.
• Resolves contract disputes and arranges any necessary order changes.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks.
• May lead and direct the work of others.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
• Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
• Ensure job sites are clean at end of day and ensure all equipment is properly secure for the night.
• Follow instructions to ensure safety of entire crew.
• Carry materials and supplies from trucks to job site so they are ready for installation or other tasks.
• Test equipment and machinery to ensure it is in good working order.
• Perform all duties assigned by the Construction Manager.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Commercial Roofing Superintendent.
• Driver's License (Required).
• OSHA Certification preferred.
• Forklift & Telehandler preferred.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Experience on a construction crew preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass drug and background screening.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Willingness to learn construction skills on-site.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, on call occasionally.
