Commercial Roofing Foreman

Essential Functions

• Cook with Crew Members, Superintendents, and Project Managers to manage scheduling, scope of work, and daily jobsite activities, including communicating any scope changes before execution.
• Lead and support crew performance and development, ensuring productivity, accountability, and proper time tracking while resolving any timesheet discrepancies.
• Document daily jobsite activity including production, quality control, and jobsite updates through accurate daily logs.
• Communicate and coordinate with customers, subcontractors, and other trades to resolve issues and keep work progressing smoothly.
• Manage jobsite readiness, materials, and equipment, including weather monitoring, end-of-day job protection, inventory coordination, and proper maintenance/storage of tools, vehicles, and trailers.
• Enforce OSHA safety standards and jobsite compliance while maintaining a safe and professional work environment.
• Maintain project schedules and production goals to ensure projects stay on time and within labor hour targets.
• Participate in pre-construction meetings and job walkthroughs to ensure clear project expectations and alignment before work begins.

Required Skills And Abilities

• OSHA 10 certification required (OSHA 30 preferred); able to obtain required equipment operation certifications.
• Able to obtain security clearance for military and secured job sites.
• Familiar with SMACNA standards and construction best practices.
• Ability to read and understand shop drawings, site plans, and specifications.
• Strong leadership & communication skills.
• Solid critical thinking, problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, hard-working, with a willingness to learn new systems.

Education And Experience

• Minimum 3 years construction experience, Minimum 3-5 years roofing specific experience.
• Experience working with TPO, EPMD, Modified Bitumen, metal roofing, coping, and the above, listed materials.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements

• Pass initial drug test and participate in random drug test program.
• Willing to travel.
• Frequent lifting and carrying 50lbs or greater.
• Frequent bending, kneeling, walking.
• Outdoor environment in all types of weather (8+ hours per day).
