About the role
Turner Morris is seeking Roofers for its Mountain Area locations in Eagle and Vail Valley.
Responsibilities
- Tear off of existing roof systems
- Addition of roofing underlayments
- Custom metal flashing work
- Overburden addition (shingles, tiles, standing seam metal)
- Inspect problem roofing for the best repair procedures
- Ensure watertight roofs on a daily basis
- Sweep and clean roofs before applying new roofing materials
Requirements
- Ability to reliably transport to job sites
- Safe working at heights
- Previous roofing experience or construction experience is a plus
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge and ability to use common measuring instruments and hand tools
- Comprehend and follow simple instructions, short correspondence, policies and procedures
- Ability to lift heavy materials and tools
- Regular attendance, punctuality, and ability to work overtime as needed
- Participate in safety training and maintain a safe work environment

Schedule
Full time, 8-10 hour shift Monday to Friday. Overtime may be required.

Vail Valley and Eagle areas
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Exposure to weather conditions
- Occasionally exposed to fumes, sharp materials, vibrations, or airborne particles
- Working at significant heights and inclinations
- Standing, walking, climbing ladders through the workday on a regular basis
- Repetitive bending and/or kneeling on hard and/or sloped roof surfaces
- Personal protective equipment will be provided
