About the role
The Commercial Real Estate Relationship Manager is responsible for the generation and management of commercial real estate relationships generally above $5 million. The size and complexity of the companies would require analytical training and experience necessary to communicate with a business owner/CEO, CFO, or controller.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage profitable client relationships
- Manage individual production and assigned production goals
- Recommend structure, terms and rate for loans being underwritten
- Provide guidance to credit analysts
- Manage loan closing process
- Ensure adherence to company loan policies and procedures
- Evaluate risks to meet profitability standards
- Actively participates in community and industry related organizations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in a financial institution in credit analysis or lending
- Capable of managing a loan portfolio of $500 million
- Capable of analyzing complex financial statements/completion of commercial analyst training program
- Possess effective sales and negotiation skills
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Expert knowledge of commercial real estate finance
