About the role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Loan Officer to join our startup bank in Indianapolis, IN. The ideal candidate will produce $40 - $50 million annually and focus on credits in the $4 - $10 million range. The position involves heavy CRE lending, both for owners and non-owners, and aligns with a passion for the local community.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and prospects
• Underwrite loans within the specified credit size range
• Manage and close loan transactions
• Provide guidance and support to clients throughout the loan process
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes

Requirements

• Proven track record of producing $40 - $50 million in annual loan production
• Experience in commercial real estate lending, preferably in the $4 - $10 million range
• Strong underwriting skills and knowledge of CRE lending regulations
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Passion for the local community and desire to work in a startup environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in commercial real estate lending
• Professional licenses/certifications preferred but not required
