About the role

This role handles high-value commercial real estate transactions across primary asset classes, representing institutional investors, developers, borrowers, and financial institutions.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and negotiate purchase and sale contracts, conveyance documents, and commercial leases.
  • Structure debt financing transactions, loan agreements, and mezzanine debt structures.
  • Prepare real estate joint venture agreements and equity capital structures.
  • Lead due diligence, including title, survey, zoning, and environmental evaluations.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of commercial real estate transactional experience at a peer law firm.
  • Proven experience in real estate debt finance, acquisitions, dispositions, and development.
  • High attention to detail, strong drafting ability, and excellent academic credentials.
  • California legal license required, or eligibility to obtain admission.

Pay

Compensation is in a broad six-figure range, plus performance bonuses.
