Commercial Quoting Specialist
Job Summary
The purpose of the Commercial Quoting Specialist position is to support commercial sales growth by providing accurate, timely, and complete quotations for customers, distributors, dealers, contractors, and internal sales teams. This role serves as a key liaison between Sales, Customer Service, Engineering, Product Management, and Operations to ensure project requirements are understood and quoted in accordance with company standards, product capabilities, and customer expectations. The Commercial Quoting Specialist is responsible for managing quote opportunities from initial request through quote delivery while driving process improvements and enhancing the overall customer experience.
Job Location
This is an on-site role based in our Brooksville, FL office.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely quotations in SAP for commercial and custom product opportunities utilizing company pricing tools, specifications, and product knowledge
- Review plans, specifications, project requirements, and customer documentation to determine appropriate product solutions and quote configurations
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Engineering, Product Management, Manufacturing, and Operations to resolve technical, pricing, and product questions
- Serve as the primary point of contact for quote-related inquiries from internal and external customers
- Manage quote requests through established workflows while ensuring customer expectations and turnaround times are met
- Interpret project specifications and identify product requirements, exclusions, assumptions, and potential risks associated with quote opportunities
- Validate pricing, bill of materials, freight considerations, and product availability to ensure quote accuracy
- Maintain quote records, project information, and customer interactions within Sales Force and quoting systems
- Monitor quote activity in Sales Force and provide updates to sales representatives and customers regarding quote status and revisions
- Support quote revisions resulting from customer feedback, specification changes, engineering reviews, or product modifications
Job Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent work experience in a field such as sales, customer service, material estimating
- Knowledge of business software (Microsoft Office, SAP, SalesForce)
- Strong phone presence and ability to make/take dozens of calls per day
- Proven ability to multi-task and drive results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
