About the Role

The Commercial Plumbing Foreman leads and supervises commercial plumbing projects, ensuring installations are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in compliance with codes, contracts, and company standards. As the on-site leader, you’ll oversee plumbers, apprentices, helpers, and subcontractors while coordinating materials, schedules, safety, quality, and productivity. This role serves as the company’s front-line representative, maintaining positive relationships with customers, trade partners, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee commercial plumbing projects of varying size and complexity from start to completion.
• Direct, supervise, and coordinate plumbers, apprentices, helpers, temporary labor, and subcontractors.
• Establish daily and weekly project goals; ensure crews meet productivity, quality, and schedule expectations.
• Work alongside crews in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
• Review project scope, specifications, schedules, and contract requirements.
• Coordinate with management, customers, and trade partners for successful project execution.
• Review drawings, specifications, submittals, and building codes to determine installation requirements.
• Assess labor, equipment, and material needs for assigned projects.
• Schedule and coordinate deliveries from warehouses, suppliers, and vendors.
• Track, manage, and maintain jobsite inventory, materials, and equipment.
• Serve as the primary field contact for customers, inspectors, and trade partners.
• Foster teamwork, collaboration, and professionalism among project personnel.
• Mentor, coach, and train plumbers, apprentices, and helpers.
• Support workforce development by fostering skill growth and leadership.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, company safety policies, and project-specific procedures.
• Conduct daily Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and communicate safety requirements.
• Complete safety documentation, permits, inspections, and reports using company platforms.
• Conduct weekly safety walks, toolbox talks, equipment inspections, and PPE checks.
• Ensure all personnel under supervision comply with safety requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 4+ years of commercial plumbing experience.
• State-issued Driver’s License with a safe driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

• Journeyman Plumber Certification.
• NC or SC Plumbing License.
• CPR and First Aid Certification.
• OSHA 30 Certification.
• Fall Protection Certification.
• Aerial Platform Certification.

Pay
