About the role
This role will install, service, modify, troubleshoot, rebuild plumbing and/or wet systems and components. It involves performing periodic inspections and preventative maintenance tasks related to infrastructure assets and systems. The responsibilities also include assisting with preventative and corrective maintenance on HVAC and other infrastructure assets and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Install, service, modify, troubleshoot, rebuild plumbing and/or wet systems and components.
- Perform periodic inspections and preventative maintenance tasks related to infrastructure assets and systems.
- Conduct maintenance tasks to prevent failure of such equipment as pumps, fans, and all other Plumbing heating equipment, including responding to all water closet and sanitary line issues.
- Assist with preventative and corrective maintenance on HVAC and other infrastructure assets and equipment.
- Utilize work order CMMS system for documentation of daily tasks and details.
Requirements
- Must be able to work independently.
- Experience with installation, modifications, servicing and sewer clearing of commercial plumbing systems, components and controls.
- Must be able to work off of ladders and elevated platforms/lifts.
- Must be a United States citizen.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
Qualifications
- Advanced mechanical aptitude.
- Safely use tools and equipment within facilities operations (including proper use of PPE).
- Cross-train in other trades to meet expectations associated with general maintenance and construction principles and troubleshooting abilities.
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds and be responsible for daily computerized work order input.
- Demonstrate adherence to safety policies and guidelines.
- Must demonstrate the ability to work off from ladders and elevated platforms.
- Possess and demonstrate high ethical standards and a positive attitude.
