Job Summary
Established service organization seeking an experienced Commercial Plumbing Technician to support installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair projects within commercial and industrial facilities.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial plumbing systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
- Detect plumbing issues and determine appropriate repair solutions.
- Install and service piping systems, fixtures, drains, water heaters, valves, and related equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on plumbing systems.
- Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades on job site activities.
- Maintain accurate service records, materials usage, and work documentation.
- Respond to emergency service calls and urgent repair requests as needed.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Provide professional customer service and communication while on job sites.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of commercial plumbing experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, piping, and fixtures.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing plumbing-related issues.
- Familiarity with local plumbing codes and safety requirements.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Able to lift equipment and materials and work in various physical environments.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Commercial plumbing certification preferred.
