Position Responsibilities
- Perform pipe welding and fitting on commercial and industrial mechanical construction projects.
- Layout, cut, fit, assemble, and weld piping systems according to project specifications and drawings.
- Verify proper fit-up, alignment, and weld integrity throughout the installation process.
- Read and interpret blueprints, piping drawings, isometric drawings, and project specifications.
- Install and fabricate piping systems while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and field crews to ensure successful project execution.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.
- Follow all company safety procedures and jobsite requirements.
- Assist with project completion while maintaining productivity and craftsmanship standards.
Qualifications
- Commercial or industrial pipe welding and fitting experience required.
- Proficiency with stick welding and MIG welding processes.
- Current 6G Welding Certification required.
- Strong pipe layout, fitting, fabrication, and installation skills.
- Strong understanding of commercial and industrial construction practices.
- Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and attention to detail.
- Strong reliability, professionalism, and work ethic.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of commercial construction work.
- Dependable attendance and consistent field performance.
