About the role
A professional level sales position within the commercial side of the business, responsible for profitable growth through customer retention and expansion. Partners with the General Manager to manage Team Members. Requires extensive knowledge of automotive systems and parts.
Responsibilities
- Maintain commercial customer relationships
- Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers
- Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives
- Provide day-to-day supervisory support for Team Members
- Collaborate with GM on coaching and developmental needs for Team Members
- Dispatch drivers ensuring delivery standards are achieved
- Maintain commercial stocking programs
- Build and maintain a network of second source suppliers
Secondary Responsibilities
- Maintain core bank and commercial returns
- Manage commercial credit accounts
- Partner with GM to ensure proper driver coverage

Essential Job Skills
- Necessary for success as a Commercial Parts Pro: working knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostic ability, communication, writing, reading, math, use of Microsoft software, organizational skills, understanding of commercial profitability concepts, prior automotive parts experience, proven sales ability, formal or informal team leadership experience, ASE certification (preferred)
Physical Demands
- Walking, standing, reaching, talking, hearing, handling/fingering, climbing/balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 100 pounds
Work Environment
- Usually indoors, occasionally outside, exposed to various weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, high/precarious places, toxic/caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, explosives, vibration, noise levels usually moderate
Position Eligible for Sales Commission
The role is eligible for sales commission based on individual or store performance.
