Commercial Operations Supervisor

Coastal Waste & Recycling is a growing privately owned, locally operated solid waste disposal and recycling company headquartered out of Boca Raton, Florida serving communities across Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina (and more to come!). Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and compliant waste collection, disposal, and recycling operations.
• Allocate resources (people and equipment) to meet customer needs.
• Review and resolve customer complaints.
• Ensure employees are meeting safety and compliance standards.
• Partner with the District Manager to create and monitor budget and P&L results.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of waste collection, disposal, and recycling teams.
• Develop and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency and service quality.
• Maintain detailed records of operations, including service logs, maintenance schedules, and compliance reports.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions to promote a safe working environment.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment and vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as an operations supervisor, preferably in the waste management or transportation industry.
• Strong knowledge of waste management practices and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in using operational management software and other relevant computer applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish or Creole preferred.

Monday - Friday 2:30am-1pm; Rotating Weekends.
