Commercial Operations Coordinator, Active Nutrition

About the role

The Commercial Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in enhancing sales team efficiency and success. This position focuses on increasing visibility and driving action through the application of sales and order data.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and establish effective order cadence and manage order pacing with the NSRD team.
  • Follow up for orders when customers are behind sales goals or velocity trends.
  • Build and maintain a new item catalog and pricing to be shared quarterly or as changes occur to the portfolio for current customers as well as at the time of onboarding a new account.
  • Drive all aspects of the client relationship onboarding experience.
  • Implement tracking programs that give the NSRD team the ability to achieve their desired goals and objectives.
  • Routinely review and communicate updates on these goals with the NSRD team and plan to bridge any gaps to expectations you identify.
  • Distribute weekly order cut reports and provide information to the NSRD team.
  • Utilize cut reports to follow back up with the NSRD team to order/replenish appropriate skus.
  • Own cross-functional leadership between commercial sales team and logistic/customer operations to ensure best in class execution and service level.
  • Review sales orders to ensure customers are ordering sufficient product for upcoming events and promotions.
  • Understand product prioritization and product lines so you can problem solve any ordering issues.
  • Partner with the NSRD team in building a forecast for legacy products based on current velocities.
  • Ensure customers aren’t ordering discontinued products to avoid transshipping and provide directions on replacement SKUs.
  • Provide exceptional service through quick response times to customers and working cross-functionally to ensure we keep customers and sales directors up to date of any changes or disruptions to normal business flow.
  • Diagnose and create solutions for shipping related challenges and realize incremental opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2-3 years customer facing, or customer service role preferred

Qualifications

  • Team player
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem solving, analytical skills, and communication skills
  • Excellent rapport building with customers in establishing strong long-lasting relationships
  • Confidence and professionalism when communicating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience in the CPG or Food & Beverage industry a plus!
