Commercial Mechanic

Join the Best-One Tire & Service team in AlignRite as a Lead Commercial Mechanic, leading a team in non-engine mechanical work on commercial vehicles while ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

About the role

Perform mechanical work including alignments, brakes, suspensions, electrical, hydraulic, kingpins, fluid changes, and DOT Inspections for commercial and light truck applications. Note: No engine or transmission work is performed at this facility.

• Provide guidance and training to other team members
• Assign jobs and duties to team members
• Assist with scheduling customer jobs
• Motivate team members and keep them on task
• Maintain and control parts and supplies inventory
• Track and record work performed and create work orders for customer jobs

Requirements

• Six years of general mechanical work experience, including at least 3 years of experience with commercial vehicles
• Experience with commercial vehicle alignments is required
• Must have own tools and tool storage
• Experience with computer point of sale software is a plus
• Possessing a CDL is a plus
