What You Will Be Doing As a Lead Mechanic Perform mechanical work including but not limited to alignments, brakes, suspensions, electrical, hydraulic, kingpins, fluid changes, and DOT Inspections for commercial and light truck applications. No engine or transmission work is performed at this facility.Providing guidance and training to other team membersHelping to assign jobs and duties to team membersAssisting with scheduling customer jobsHelping to motivate team members and keep them on taskMaintain and control parts and supplies inventory.Track and record work performed and create work orders for customer jobs. What We're Looking For Six years of general mechanical work experience, including at least 3 years of experience with commercial vehicles. Experience doing commercial vehicle alignments is a must.Must have own tools and tool storage.Experience working with computer point of sale software is a plus.Possessing a CDL is a plus.
