Commercial Maintenance Technician/Supervisor

About the role

This is a Senior Staff position for a Commercial Portfolio at a Property Management Company managing over 600,000 square feet of space including office space, retail strip centers, multi-use properties, mini-storage facilities, and warehouse space.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance staff and perform maintenance repairs
• Speak professionally with tenants and vendors on a daily basis
• Multi-task phone calls, software needs, and service calls
• Self-direct, schedule, and perform work orders efficiently
• Manage and coordinate with the groundskeeping team on a daily basis
• Obtain and present bids for major repairs
• Manage and coordinate with the groundskeeping team on a daily basis
• Able to complete physical work as required, such as snow removal
• Supervise and schedule a team of 2-3 employees

Requirements

• Above average skills in areas including, but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC diagnostics
• The capability to speak professionally with tenants and vendors on a daily basis
• The ability to multi-task phone calls, software needs, and service calls
• The knack to self direct, schedule, and perform work orders efficiently
• A good eye and standard for curb appeal expectations
• Able to manage and coordinate with the groundskeeping team on a daily basis
• A strong working knowledge with computers

Pay

Starting range $40,000-$50,000
