Commercial Loan Operations Specialist (contract)

Responsibilities

• Support the Collateral Release and Intake Team during the conversion of commercial loan data from AFS to Loan IQ.
• Review collateral assets and related loan documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Manage team Outlook inboxes by filtering, organizing, prioritizing, and assigning actionable requests.
• Perform remediation activities on converted loan files by researching discrepancies, identifying incorrect records, and ensuring proper resolution.
• Assist with the cleanup and maintenance of legacy reports and operational data.
• Support reporting and project-related initiatives tied to the conversion effort.
• Review and recognize key commercial loan documents, including promissory notes and related collateral documentation.
• Complete ad hoc operational and project-related assignments as needed.
• Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail while meeting production expectations.

Qualifications

• Commercial loan, loan servicing, or loan operations experience.
• Experience in a post-closing loan environment.
• Understanding of commercial loan servicing and commercial loan portfolios.
• Ability to identify and review loan documentation, including promissory notes and other commercial lending documents.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including: VLOOKUPs, Data validation, Sorting and filtering, Spreadsheet analysis.
• Experience managing shared Outlook inboxes and routing work items.
• Experience supporting remediation projects, reporting initiatives, data cleanup efforts, or system conversions.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
• Able to work independently, take initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Basic experience working with AFS and Loan IQ (job aids and training resources will be available).
• Basic understanding of nCino loan origination and booking processes.
• Prior experience supporting commercial lending operations during system conversions or platform migrations.
• Experience with collateral release and intake functions.
