Commercial Loan Officer - Tampa

Responsibilities

• Recruiting potential clients and building the business loan and deposit portfolio.
• Developing and implementing competitive loan products and depository products.
• Training financial center staff in all manner of business lending.
• The origination, processing, presentation, closing and tracking of business loan applications and closed loans.
• Ensures product and portfolio compliance with NCUA and other applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field from an accredited university is preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years commercial loan and business service skills required, or one (1) year of commercial lending experience within the credit union required.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Good analytical skills.
• Thorough knowledge of the current software systems or experience on related systems.
• Thorough knowledge of all laws related to commercial lending as well as laws and regulations that govern the operation of Federal Credit Unions.
• A valid driver’s license.
