Commercial Litigation Staff Attorney
About the role
Venable LLP's Commercial Litigation Group seeks a staff attorney with a minimum of five years of litigation experience to join the practice in our Los Angeles or San Francisco offices. The qualified candidate will support the Commercial Litigation Group on a dedicated set of matters for a key client, including written work product, as well as possible trials and arbitrations. Prior experience with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) is preferred but not required.
The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to juggle multiple deadlines, and a willingness to use developing AI tools.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of litigation experience
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to and in good standing with the California Bar
- Law school transcripts must be included with submissions
- Brief cover letter noting preferred office location (Los Angeles or San Francisco)
Pay
The anticipated base salary for this position is $180,000 – $230,000 per year. The actual salary offered will be based on job-related factors including years of related experience, level of education, skills, credentials and certifications, responsibilities, and performance.
