Commercial Litigation Staff Attorney

Venable LLP's Commercial Litigation Group seeks a staff attorney to join the practice in our Los Angeles or San Francisco offices, supporting a dedicated set of matters for a key client.

About the role

The qualified candidate will support the Commercial Litigation Group with written work product, as well as possible trials and arbitrations. Prior experience with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prepare written work product for litigation matters
• Support trials and arbitrations as needed
• Manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
• Utilize developing AI tools in legal workflows
• Maintain access to privileged and confidential firm and client information

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of litigation experience
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to and good standing with the California Bar
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

Pay

The anticipated base salary for this position is $180,000 – $230,000 per year. The actual salary offered will be based on factors including years of related experience, education, skills, credentials, responsibilities, and performance.
