We are a well-established, full-service firm with a multi-office presence and a broad, collaborative practice spanning more than 30 areas of law. We serve as trusted counsel to businesses, families, and individuals across a wide range of industries, pairing the depth and resources of a larger firm with the responsiveness and entrepreneurial mindset of a boutique.

About the role

Our firm is seeking a Senior Associate or Counsel to support our growing Title IX and Education practice from our New York office. This is a substantive litigation role for someone who wants to work at the intersection of education law, civil rights, and complex disputes.

Responsibilities

  • Handle a wide range of Title IX matters, including investigations and hearings
  • Advise on student and faculty disciplinary proceedings and academic misconduct
  • Work on special education issues, civil rights matters, defamation claims, and related litigation
  • Manage matters with the independence expected of a senior associate or counsel

Requirements

  • Senior Associate– or Counsel-level litigation experience, ideally with exposure to Title IX, education, or civil rights work
  • Admission to the New York bar and good standing
  • Sound judgment on sensitive matters and the ability to manage clients and cases directly

Benefits

We're built for attorneys who want to grow a practice, not just bill hours. Our dedicated onboarding and integration team — spanning marketing, business development, IT, risk management, and client-matter support — is designed to make a lateral move as seamless as possible for you and your clients. Collaborative culture, genuine cross-practice referrals, and a firm that invests in your book are the norm here.

Pay

$200,000 - $235,000 per year
