Commercial Litigation Associate/Counsel

About the role

Located in Los Angeles, CA, Barnes & Thornburg LLP’s Los Angeles office is seeking an Associate/Counsel to join its Commercial Litigation Group. The role involves representing clients in California state and federal courts across all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion drafting, and hearings, with trial experience or trial preparation a plus.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in CA state court and federal court litigation.
• Manage all phases of litigation: discovery, depositions, motion drafting, and hearings.
• Prepare for and participate in trial proceedings.
• Collaborate with a large, collegial team on client matters.

Requirements

• 6+ years of litigation experience at a law firm.
• Admission to the California Bar required.

Qualifications

• Outstanding writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Strong academic credentials from a Top 50 law school.

Pay

Compensation range: $370,000 – $400,000.
