Associate Corporate Counsel, Commercial Litigation
About the role
You will help manage a wide range of litigation and pre-litigation matters that impact Best Buy across the enterprise. In this role, you'll partner closely with business teams and outside counsel to assess risk, respond to legal disputes, and support litigation strategy in a way that aligns with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing litigation and pre-litigation matters across the enterprise
- Partner with outside counsel on discovery, motion practice, investigations, and case strategy
- Draft responses to demand letters, subpoenas, and agency inquiries
- Advises business partners on litigation risk and dispute-related legal considerations
- Monitor legal developments and support special projects as assigned
Requirements
- JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school, and admitted to practice law in the State of Minnesota (or eligible for admission)
- 2 years of corporate or private law firm commercial litigation experience

Schedule
Hybrid, requires working on site Monday through Thursday at the Best Buy corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota. Can work virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location on Friday.
